Granite top genesis table with side burner

Found this granite in my neighbors trash, so I hauled it across the street because I have a hard time seeing good stuff go to the landfill.

Grabbed this old black genesis go 30 bucks, and low and behold I think it fits perfect. I'm gonna take the flip up table and that other plastic piece off of the left side. Then it will have the same look as the ssp with the square tubes for handles.

I'm not sure how I want to attach the granite, thought about just using silicone caulking or something. Would like for it to be removable but its not that big of a deal I guess. I will probably end up wanting to get any rust on the frame taken care of at some point.

Also, I think the side burner will plug right into a 5lb tank from an ssp, so I might be ISO one of those within reasonable driving distance.

Any tips or pointers are welcome, Idk how soon I will mess with it.

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

I bought a platinum to do it with first, but it fired right up and I have cooked on it a few times lol. I konda want to keep it to have a gasser for convenience and maybe teach the wife how to use it.

Ok, so I tried hooking a 5lb tank to the side burner and the hose is different. It also made me realize that I probably need a regulator(shout out to Warren G) lol

I ended up using some fittings off of this old red head gasser, and the gasser I got the cart from, and hooked a 20lb tank to it. It worked, I should probably check for leaks though

A good Bic should help finding any leaks

I was thinking some soapy water but maybe I will try the bic method first lol.
