So @ctwhyme sister is getting married and she and her fiancé and I are friends she’s like a sister to me. So ctwhyme his wife and me and my wife put a gift together for them.
The grill was a Weber Performer Charcoal non gas 22 in. Black Kettle Grill with the timer and plastic table and old style bail. Did a few upgrades.
1. Older used grill cleaned it the best I could
2. New sweeps
3. Painted the ash bucket black with 1500 degree engine paint. And the handle of the bucket with 500 degree paint.
4. Grill was outside for years waiting for the right person and it needed a good cleaning and new paint job. Not a fan of the grey color so painted the frame with 500 degree paint. Did 5 coats then 3 clear coats. Wet sanding in between coats.
5. New gourmet grate and charcoal grate
6. Set of charcoal baskets
7. After cleaning the plastic table and looking at it with the grey table... I had to get the black
And a Craftsman tool bag with a ton of goodies. The wedding shower was last week and they loved it! So did I I wasn’t invited. [emoji23]
