A strange beginning
« on: May 30, 2019, 07:38:39 PM »
So fb informed me a bit ago that I picked up my first 26er 2 years ago today... I looked here and low and behold I have been on forum for 2 years as of the 26th of this month as well. I stumbled upon the group looking to find a used 26er and met @Cellar2ful. 2 plus hour drive I pulled into Jim's driveway... I had no idea at the time but that was the moment my weberitis begun. Over the past 2 years I've made some amazing friendships and have acquired a collection of kettles I had no idea ever even existed and am STILL nowhere near done, time and temp please?!?
Plus I'm FINALLY making my first WKC northern California picnic this weekend!!!

Thanks for having me WKC! I love being here and look forward to the discoveries and memories yet to be created.

Very nice 2 year accumulation! I saw a 26 with the smoke ez on Craigslist somewhere for around 250 bucks I think. But it doesn't look near that nice.

Congrats on the anniversary. I always love seeing the shots of your kettles with the "Grill Therapy" logo in the background. Sometimes it's hard to explain the allure of the hobby to others but that says it all.

Happy 2 years Chef. Always love seeing and reading about your cooks and kettles. After watching you make grilled chili it is has become my new go to chili method.

Glad to have been part of the journey Matt.  Your culinary skills and photos inspires me to get more creative, although that doesn't always work out for me.
