The Bomb-B-Q
« on: May 10, 2019, 05:25:06 AM »
My son is currently serving in the USAF. He was able to procure this piece of scrap metal and a Craigslist $30 kettle. It’s not finished yet, he only gets to work on it when he’s home on leave. I’m very proud of him for serving and  he’s a darn good self taught fabricator.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

That is really cool. Tell him thank you for his service and I’m jealous of his fabricating skill.

This looks pretty cool. I foresee a need for a custom handle that kind of brings the bomb to a point on the lid.

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

As a retired USAF guy (30 years) I'm proud to see a young airman using his down time being creative in a positive way.  Out of curiosity, what is his AFSC?

I’m not sure of the code. He is Ammo, he’ll be sewing on his Staff Sergeant stripes soon. So far he has been at Kunsan in Korea, Misawa in Japan and is currently at Mildenhall in the UK. He’s sure seen a lot for 21 years old! His mom and I are very proud. Thank you for your service!
