The Bomb-B-Q
« on: May 10, 2019, 05:25:06 AM »
My son is currently serving in the USAF. He was able to procure this piece of scrap metal and a Craigslist $30 kettle. Itís not finished yet, he only gets to work on it when heís home on leave. Iím very proud of him for serving and  heís a darn good self taught fabricator.

This looks pretty cool. I foresee a need for a custom handle that kind of brings the bomb to a point on the lid.

As a retired USAF guy (30 years) I'm proud to see a young airman using his down time being creative in a positive way.  Out of curiosity, what is his AFSC?

Iím not sure of the code. He is Ammo, heíll be sewing on his Staff Sergeant stripes soon. So far he has been at Kunsan in Korea, Misawa in Japan and is currently at Mildenhall in the UK. Heís sure seen a lot for 21 years old! His mom and I are very proud. Thank you for your service!
