Does anybody know when they plan to stop the new red kettles? Does not seem to me that they will be LE if they produce the reds for 10 more years. Thanks

That's a good point.
I also wonder how many pieces they are about to produce.
Here in Germany you normally have to say X out of y if you sell something as "limited".

I asked Weber but the hotline has no idea.

You can buy them used on CL for 50.00. I'd still rather spend it on an older model. LMAO
LE my ASS. Don't believe the hype.

I brought one new in 2017 for Christmas.
Never used it because it's a dream of a kettle and I was so proud to have one.
At this time they made it super rare in the stores and I was so lucky to get one.
Now ... it's still a super nice kettle but definitely not rare or even limited.

Got mine very cheap but it's by far my least favorite kettle. Next in line to go on the next round of downsizing.

Anything wrong with them??
(Don't know if there is much feed back...)
I have had one in the garage NIB for about a year now, considering it for my custom One Touch Platinum cart...

There were some quality issues with some of the earlier ones. Otherwise they are good kettles.

I picked one up on ebay at the end of last year to install in a non-assist SSP frame.  Mine had no chips or any other quality control type problems.  Compared to my MBH redhead, the finish is less glossy.  Don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing--just a different thing.

The Red LE is a good kettle.  I have been using the crap out of mine.

Looks really good!

I got a reply from Weber. They stopped producing the LE in 2017. I did get one which is dated 09/2017. No plans to use just going to sit on it for a few years.

Meaning most probably no success as they are still selling them and now for a discounted price (at least in Europe)
