Weber Charcoal
« on: January 12, 2019, 11:40:15 AM »
Did a little calling around to the local (within 40 miles) Home Depots hoping to find some of that sale priced Weber charcoal.  The first two were sold out but, hallelujah, I found one in Clinton, IA that still had 40 in inventory! I called the main desk to confirm that they had some, but she said Lawn and Garden's line was busy, would I like to hold? Sure, I said, and 5 minutes later the guy from Lawn and Garden answered. He told me he was sorry but the guy he was talking to while I was on hold just bought all 40 bags! Story of my life...day late and a dollar short!! :-\ :-\

I saw that they had Kingsford Blue 2-paks for $9.98 and called Kohls to see if they would match the price (Kohls is 6 miles closer). They did, and with the veteran's discount I paid $8.90 per pak of two. So I picked up 16 bags for less than $80.00. Did okay, I guess..
