Here is my preferred Christmas tree
« on: December 24, 2018, 09:27:14 AM »
It is time for Swedish Christmas Eve dinner at my house! Lingonberries and herring are inside while I cook the potatiskorv outside on the kettle.

Can’t find potatiskorv around here, so I have to bring out my inner butcher and mix and stuff the sausage myself!

How long did it take to cook the star and at what temp?
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

i actually used the star to light the charcoal. It’s pretty hot.

Looks good. But we're gonna need the recipe for that potatiskorv!
4# Ground beef
4# Ground pork
5 teaspoons allspice
2 teaspoons salt
3 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1.5-2# skinned and shredded raw russet potatoes

Mix it all up and stuff into natural casings (you’ll need about 15 feet), although, it is also excellent when served in patties cooked in a cast iron. Serve with lingonberry sauce.

Also good with your favorite mustard, roasted cabbage and potatoes, and grilled broccoli.

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.
