I'm a little late for the now part but, this was on 1/24/26 in the Chicagoland area. Correct me if I'm wrong neighbors but, the temps were between -10°F - 6°F.

I loaded at 300°F. A quick adjustment brought it down to 225. Held steady for about 9 to 10 hours. Dropped down to about 190. Another quick adjustment brought back to 225. Held that until it spiked in the last hour of the 13 hour cook. I knew that I should have broken up that huge lump of charcoal! Another quick twist and rode it on home at 225.

Served with mashed potatoes, green beans, and smoked bourbon maple glazed carrots. I was too tired to even think about taking a picture of the other food.
