I'm lazy...
So I extended my ash catcher.
Now I only have to bend over half as often.
There are more pics of the build but they are misplaced and Ill add them when I find them.
Here you can see the top & bottom sections of the pan. To cut it I drilled a hole exactly in the middle of the side, then put a jigsaw blade in the hole...and it was shake rattle & roll all the way around. Then i had to finger wrestle the aluminum flashing (its more challenging that you think) and drill & rivet it all together.
The handle is made from some iron wood flooring scraps. I used a big drill bit to hog out the space for the handle to fit but Im pretty sure
@zavod44 could make one that would complement the other wooden goodys he makes, and wouldn't need JBWeld to hold it together.
