Yes, it is standard on Bar-B-Kettle models. Below is a quote from the Master Touch History Thread.

Yes. The Bar-B-Kettle model was not marked on the lid vent. You might be thinking about the "Bar-B-Q-Kettle" that was stamped on lid vents in the 70's. Confusing, but two separate marketing models.
