Finally done

with the table I started around the beginning of the year... still a couple things to do like adding some hooks and maybe a beer opener.  But I'm loving cooking on it.

The top is concrete.  I recall calculating that it was just under 300 lbs

The hose feeds the sink so cold water only. I've got a y at the spigot so during warm months I keep the hose pressurized at all times.  I've get an 8 gallon bucket underneath to collect water.  Primary use of sink is to wash hands.  But that's a big deal to me. Everything where I need it instead of running in and out of the house 20 times in order to cook a steak...

I love the idea of the sink built in. And the counter space is amazing. You're right - don't want to have to run inside to wash hands 100 times each session. Looking at the plumbing at my house they put soft water to the spigot in the back. I always thought it would have been cool if they did both
hot/cold water too.

@Gunslinger2071 the frame is made with 2x6 and 4x4's. I bought a cheap pocket screw jig at lowes and that's all there is to the frame. I built th doors but you can buy those along with drawer at barker doors. Plywood panels cut a little smaller than the openings, again secured with pocket screws. And quarter round trim to hide the gaps. Then stain / weather sealer to pretty it up.  Everything but the cabinets doors require very limited woodworking skills. The concrete top was a little more technical but that wasn't really difficult either.  The plans were from a custom table for a bge. I can post a link if you're interested.
