My reported posts
« on: May 30, 2018, 01:55:02 PM »
There was a spam bot or spammer this morning that posted a link to viagra or something like that to several old posts.

I was reporting the spam to the mods. eventually the mods deleted all of the spammers posts leaving my reported posts that confused everyone.

The app has an option to “report” a spam post to the mods to alert them that someone is spamming the forum.

I posted reported so that the everyone knew I had already tried to report and alert the mods so they wouldn’t get bombarded.

That maybe worked?? But confused everyone that read through the posts after the spammers posts were already deleted by the mods.

Sorry for the confusion.

"Damned if you do, damned if you don't."

No worries from my viewpoint. I was right behind you in reporting some but didn't post to the threads.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

No need to be sorry and we appreciate the reports. However, don’t respond to the spam post in the thread. That actually leads to more work for the mods to do because now we need to remove the reply as well. Just hit the report to moderator button.
