Waffle and flank steak day
« on: March 25, 2018, 10:36:11 AM »
It was finally a beautiful spring day today, so of course we had a full day of smoke and fire fun outside.

Because it's national waffle day, we started at with some waffles in a old fashioned cast iron waffle iron! It was my first time making waffles this way, but we're going to do it more often!! That was super cool and fun to do!

For diner I made a flank steak, with just pepper and salt, a tomato salsa, aspergus and patatoes! It was gone in a few minutes... [emoji91]

Yes I wish it was! It the same idea and it works the same, but it's a cheaper version. It's fun to do besides my Weber's!

Sure! I boil the patatoes untill there done and soft. Little bit oil in the skillet, place the patatoes. Crush them a little, but not completely. Put them on the grill at 320 for about an half hour. Then melt some butter in a pan, about a stick, then add parsley, onion powder, garlic. What ever you like with you patatoes! Then leave on the grill for another 10 minutes and enjoy!
