Guys. Is there a way of changing out kettles on a performer?

Yup.
Remove the 4 bolts.
Remove kettle.
Place new kettle on frame.
Replace the 4 bolts.

Sounds like a lotta work. I’d just buy a second performer instead.

I am working on making my performer portable instead of buying another kettle grill, to make it easier to remove and re-install the performer bowl on the cart, I looking at replacing the 4 bolts with thumb screws or wing nut bolts.

Its more than just 4 bolts...
A Performer is not meant to be portable..
What do you hope to accomplish?

You’re much better off getting a second grill. I’m sure you can find a cheap one on one of the seller sites.
