Madness on the 26
« on: February 12, 2018, 03:07:03 PM »
Eating healthy tonight. Hot sauce marinated chicken, sprouts, broccoli cooked inside, and fire roasted salsa just because we were out. The grillgrates is a versatile tool. Flat side for sprouts and grate side to finish the chicken.

Everything looks great! What’s the marinade recipe?

Thanks. It’s just franks red hot. I marinaded in that for an hour then sprinkles with some seasoning and cooked them indirect then sear at the end to finish them off. I was worried that the texture of the skin might not be good but they were great. I think the direct sear at the end is important for the texture when cooking marinated skin on chicken.

I think I did add a little olive oil to the marinade but I can’t remember

Good reason to buy the 26. Lot's o room. I like the idea of cooking the brussel sprouts outside!
