Man I wish I found this site before I started my project.  My old performer rusted out and this time around I wanted more space to prepare food, a separate area (clean) for plating food and the ability to wash my hands or clean utensils.  My wife thought I was crazy and told me she didn't want something that looked like it belonged on a boy scout camp ground.  She challenged my need for a sink... I asked her how many doors she needs to open and close to wash her hands while cooking.  Found a bunch of ideas mostly for BGE's so I borrowed ideas from a bunch of different plans.  Still waiting for spring to finish with stain and hardware.  Have a drawer coming from Barker Door.  First use was on Thanksgiving for a turkey while still far from completed...  told my brother "behold the power of this fully operational.... grill table".  Not so proud of it after seeing some of the stuff posted here.

Thanks... now just need winter to be gone so I can enjoy sitting near it while grilling rather than in the house watching the thermometer output on my iPad.

Mr.CPHo

Welcome.  Great first post and I really dig your setup, especially the sink.

That's great!  What did you use to seal the top?  I'm interested in putting together a table with a concrete top but one of the things that is holding me up is deciding if concrete is the right material to use on the top.  Would definitely have to seal it to avoid grease stains and what not, but I've heard some sealers don't do well with heat (they start to discolor).

I'd be super proud!
Looks great!
Fill us in on the sink please, water hook up? Drain?
I'd love to have a sink near my grill, the going in and out sucks, especially since my in is upstairs

That is very cool! I wanted a sink in my custom but could not do it how I wanted the grills. I really like how you designed it looks awesome. As far as "Not so proud of it" you my friend have Braggin' Rights!
Wife said "No more GRILLS in this house!" So I bought a 2nd house!

Jon

You did a nice build on that setup. No apologies required.
