Forgive me father, for I have.... well, maybe not
« on: October 07, 2017, 03:11:47 PM »
Put the new to me Gas spirit to use tonight along with the JJ for some steak fajitas.
Extremely basic. I did the onions and peppers in the black iron skillet on the gasser and threw a flank on the coals of the JJ.
Everyone needs to jump on this caveman method. It doesn’t impart any coal flavors and is incredibly quick and fun to do.
I gotta say that having a simple gasser sitting next to the daily drivers is very convenient. No more running in and out for me!
Not the best pics, I just wanted to share with ya’ll.
Have a good one fella’s!

That skillet looks glossy and perfect. I love the shine they take when in use.

I have a Q along with my 2 blue OTGs, Performer and a 18.5 WSM. I use the Q for veggies and the occasional pancakes with the half griddle option. I'm guilt free (mostly). Cook looks delicious. I'll post if I ever do a caveman!

It's always better when you're cooking on a Weber!

Wish I had a before pic of when I found it. It was sitting in a back corner of a garage, rusty as hell.
And I should have mentioned that this cook was done cause of yours the other day. Yours looked so damn good. I’d still like to add a sauce with it. Maybe next time.

crickey,

if you don't got a weber gasser, what do you use on total fire ban days?  and "cave man" is so totally trippy.  good but.

Loooking good! I agree the gasser comes in handy and keeps me out of the kitchen.
May The Smoke Be With You!
