Old Dutch is getting sued.
Any company, any product -even greeting card companies and their father's days cards, Weber had a form letter of cease and desist if anything remotely looked like a 3 legged kettle or had a handle on top. If you take graphic arts and graphic design courses, this is actually mentioned in "DO NOT EVER CONSIDER USING".
Funny.. I had a big "discussion" with my old boss at Weber when he wanted to move the handle to the front of the higher end charcoal -which looks like what they did on the Summit. Weber has a bit of protection with the silhouette of a kettle shape and the trademark with the handle on top. I had advice from the legal dept that it was almost necessary -otherwise moving the handle opens a whole can of worms for them.
51%... Good thing they sold off.
Anyway.. finding those little iconic images of any product is always entertaining.
