Finally got an 18" and a red head none-the-less.  It is also my first one touch system grill.  I saw this about a month ago on FB market place for $10.  Description said it had a "little rust".  After taking an hour long (round trip) drive I got it home and discovered each of the sockets had rust through, and when trying to get a leg out of the socket, the socket itself came of.  After a super busy month and having other grills on the list before this one, I was finally able to sit down and fix her up.  Obviously, with the washers the sweeps won't be as effective for cleaning ash, but they do cover the vent holes completely and I can open the vents completely too.  I am very happy with this little grill and it makes me want my grail blue 18" even more!

Lookin' good, Tommy. I think I might have a spare ash pan and clips if you need them.

Lets just say I have acquired a few Kettles.  Big and small.   Vintage and New...  Some say I have a problem.  I find the Kettle, buy the Kettle, USE the Kettle...No problem...
