Weber coal burns hotter...try a 2-1 or a 1-1 depending on how hot you are going.

Well I started it before seeing any replies, so far it's going good I'm only using the temp gauge on the lid that's all i have.

It's sitting at the 260 mark right now, I just opened the lower vent a little more to raise the temp a bit, top vent wide open...



There is a water pan in there too...
