The model was called a sage Platinum and yes it was produced in the US.  I believe the sage color was produced in the Gen #2 Performer model also, but most of the examples I have seen are in Australia. I have a 2004 (DH Code) sage Platinum.

It looks like it doesn't have a thermometer.

The Platinum model did not come with a thermometer on the handle like the Performers were equipped with.
