Interested in this answer as well. How does the summit charcoal compare to the 26 vs the ranch vs the WSM. If you only had to choose one what would you choose. Is summit charcoal worth the money or is the 26" Weber a better deal.

Ok, IMO the Summit is hands down the most versital cooker for the backyard BBQr.  Even a better smoker then the WSM and I'm not putting down the bullet one bit.  I don't do Comp's but if I did the WSM would be in the arsenal along with the 26".  If you have the $$$ for a Summit you won't be disappointed.  I have used the Ranch several times for making bacon.  I can put 3 full Bellies in there at one time and it does a great job (just don't peek when that lid comes up you lose alot of heat real fast).  I use the Ranch from Feb - June doing Tri Tips for my daughter's college softball team.  So with all that if you can swing the Summit do it but you can't go wrong with the 26".

Sidenote : you could buy 3 26" for the price of the Summit.
Hope this helps.

Nice lineup, Fedex. I saw the first pic and I thought you unloaded all your colored kettles.

I could nerd out all day over the full family. The aristocrat is sexy, but you know I LOVE that blue performer.
Still need a 22” yellow
