Saturday's road trip
« on: May 21, 2017, 02:22:40 AM »
Not the same as the killer finds that you have back in the states but this is not bad for one day of driving.

My first 57 cm PLUM :-)  "DA"
A 57 cm OT taco "AD"
A 47 cm OT "DO"
And my first FREE Weber 47 cm OT with NEW SS wok ! "AA"

Now to start RRR'en on them.

I watch the adds here in The Netherlands a LOT and in 2 years this was the first Plum that I have seen.
Last fall I wanted a SS wok for my Jumbo Joe and scored one new in the box for 15.00 bucks, kind of hurts now that I get another New one with a grill for free. Oh well, shit happens.

Update on the Plum!
It's a DA grill with SS Pointy Thing ( sweeper ).
Here is the plum after 1 day of cleaning ! I switched out the rusty triangle for a black one with better looking legs.
Turned out to have a SS Hinged 57 cm Weber cooking grate under a layer of crud from years of cooking. It cleaned up nice!

Here is a photo of the free 18" with the SS wok. Here you can pick them up almost weekly for about $20 and most are still new!

You can't always get what you want....but if you try sometimes you get what you need
