I can not thank him enough for his thoughtfulness and his amazing gesture.  Some of you already know that he commissioned Zav to make my restored SSP charcoal handle few months ago. Well..... he went one step further and had Zav make a wooden plaque also.  :o :o 8) :) ;D

I just got them this week from Zav, and have both on my SSP today.

Before.

After.

Ribeye steaks and lobsters for her first cook tonight.  Thanks so much Mike!

First cook on my SSP.

Getting her nice and hot after burn in for about 1hr.

Charcoal grate raised up with the poortex wide opening side up touching the cooking grate for some serious searing action 2 steaks at a time.

Sides including apple pie on the Gasser.

I will be using this baby more often now. Once again, huge props to Mike for making this happen and also to Zav for all his beautiful handles he made for me including these 2 from Mike.

All you need now are the square end caps.

But if Brian made some (somewhat matching) inserts to pop into the sweeper and bucket handles I think this performer would be truly over the top.
