My First Go With Homemade Pizza Ring
« on: April 15, 2017, 04:41:20 AM »
Well the first attempt went well no burnt ones just one that lost half the toppings but it still got eaten. We made the pizzas with bought dough with a little corn meal and parchment paper under the pies. We were able to make them all at once then bring out on wood peel as needed. Sliding them into the bbq was easy with parchment paper and once they got cooking i could grab the paper and pull it out from under the pie. My only problem was keeping the temps up after doing 2 pizzas it dropped down to 400-500 degrees.  Also i can see getting a piece of steel for the top maybe that'll keep the temps up a bit. I can see doing it again.
