New Green Machine
« on: February 27, 2017, 09:42:17 AM »
I've been eyeing all the cool new colors on the Q1200s but really wanted the size of the Q2200. I think Ace did a red lid Q2200 a few years back, but I couldn't find one anywhere. Luck would have it that I was able to snag the green John Deere edition.  I liked the fact that it was all green (top and bottom), but was not a fan of the cheesy looking John Deere handle. One quick swap out and I now have my colored Q.

Also picked up a couple of rolling duffle bags a couple of months ago which is a really nice fit.

I think the yellow / orange is one of the cooler colors.  Wish they'd starting making them in the Q2200s.

Looking great. Q in a duffel bag is genius.

I like this Q.  Sort of the special edition of the Q world. I like how it is all same color. Like the yellow John Deere logoed handle too. Trying to see where I can get this one in Canada.

Damn it, you just solidified the reason I now MUST own one.  For my daughter's soccer games.  Super easy.  Get a slot dog gadget and make all the kids happy after the games.

Picking up a Green John Deere 2200 this weekend.  Like to find Weber cart 6525 to go with it.

That's interesting. I'd seen the Q1200 Deere but not the 2200. Is that the only Q to have a painted bowl, er, cook box?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Just picked one up today. When researching it it shows on many sites as the Q2200 but with the red piezo ignitor instead of the electronic version. Mine is just like yours @greenweb

I've also seen that some of the oatmeal colored 2200s came with carts.
