Picked up this gasser for $25 today. The cross tube is gone but the main tubes are good . Also , the dripping catch pan is almost rusted out. Other than that she's good to go. Where can I find these parts and is this a genesis silver A ?

When I was looking for a crossover tube for a silver A the cheapest place was I found was Marbeck.com.  I paid $8.75 to my door.

Is the drip catch solid enough to use with the liners?

The slide out tray and the 2 brackets that holds it are about gone. The fire box is solid and so is the 2 burner tubes.

Not too familiar with gassers. This is my first one to own.

Ereplacementparts.com or call weber.  Weber charges a flat $7 for shipping.  I'd price it out on ereplacement then call weber to see if you can get it to your door cheaper.

I believe the sticker with the model number was under the control panel.  Take a look under there.

Looking this up on Webers site I am thinking this is a 00/01 Genesis Silver A

Crossover tube that you need is

http://www.ereplacementparts.com/crossover-tube-p-1476895.html - 83738 Crossover tube for the Spirit 500/Silver A

The two rails holding on the tray will be much harder to find as they are not even listed in the schematics, Weber may be the best bet.

Regarding the drip try itself, if the aluminum one is missing I just buy the foil ones from Weber and double up, it does the job.

That is a very nice little gasser, they put out a lot of heat for a two burner.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Used it for the first time today as is. Keeping it at my job trailer till I'm finished with my current apartment complex we're building. Grilled some deer burgers. she cooks really well and was impressed. Haven't used a gasser much ever.

I took a closer look at yours and this is your grill...

http://help.weber.com/schematics/browse.aspx?model=2241001

http://help.weber.com/manuals/default.aspx#description

Model #2241001
Description Genesis Silver

But the parts you are looking for should be the same on both. Happy hunting!
