Portability and charcoal efficiency.
Plus you can pack a chimney, coals tools and other items inside

CGA will use less fuel and can give you more indirect cooking zone area. More compact than the SJ. Best portable grill hands down

Do you have a picture, or thread reference, of packing all that in a CGA? I remember reading about it here but couldn't find it. I've taken my CGA on two trips and couldn't figure out how to fit the mini chimney in there, and that was without the cooking grate.

Thanks!! I swear I tried putting the chimney in that way but the lid wouldn't close. I'll have to try again

I've got a EU CGA, added a thermometer and some Craycort grates. The taco handle matches my Master Touch, but I wish it had the side handles. Love this little guy.

Argh, now you guys have me wanting one!

Are there any differences in reliability or functionality between the new and vintage CGAs?

They only sell new GAs in black now, right?  How much should I expect to spend to get a vintage one in good (but cooked-in) condition in a non-black color?

ISO: Dark red/crimson mist kettle (cooker condition). 18" preferred, but a 22" would be awesome too.
