That I did. Funny thing...I initially bought the OTP for $74. I got home and started pouting. For another $25 I could've bought the MT and save $100 as opposed to $50. I went back to Walmart to exchange it for the MT. I nearly kept both but if I did, my wife would've executed me and this post would not have been possible [emoji23]

I also picked up a NIB MT at Walmart for $99.  I still need to assemble it and didn't really need it but I couldn't pass it up for the price.

I pulled the trigger on a Master Touch myself, in my favorite color! Also picked up a new Weber chimney for $8, a big bag of pecan chunks  for $4 and a roll of Reynolds grilling foil for $3. All good deals. Then I stopped at Home Depot and bought a dozen bags of KIngsford.  Not bad for $175.00 total, and after 30 or 40 kettles, myfirst ever new grill!

@56MPG , LMAO. You bought a Summit with the plastic still on it, first ever new... JK :o
30 or 40 kettles? I understand at our age(memory) could be more... Congrats on a NEW MT.
Pricing has not come down here enough to pull the trigger on a WSM. Know MT's offered here, just the JJ on legs...

First ever bought at retail is more accurate.  ;D I have owned several NIB kettles over the years. I still maintain my vow to never pay full retail for a grill.

Its a no go in the D.C. area. FULL PRICE. The Wal-Mart off of route 198 MD which has a garden center has the kettle pizza deluxe $160. The Wal-Mart right by the Cosco off of route 1 VA which also has a garden center has the 14.5" wsm $189. The three other Wal-Mart's did not have garden centers and just showcased  the jumbo joe premium and go anywhere grills as well as the non weber grills. Cheap Bastards.
