Breaking in of the 26'er!
« on: March 12, 2013, 06:41:35 PM »
So I took off my sling and "de-virginized" the new kettle!!

Her first fire...

An apple chipotle dry rub with salt and pepper...

It was 80 here today. A perfect time to test my blackberry bourbon julep recipe while waiting for the ribs with the best gun dog ever..

Keegan, my 70lb Irish Water Spaniel. Does he look like Rick James? Type "Irish Water Spaniel and Rick James" into google images and watch what comes up....

@ the 2 hr mark with some pasilla chilis

after 4 hrs @ 210-220

cut and ready to eat. Served them with sweet potatoes and arugula salad with blue cheese vinagrette. I also had an apple bourbon bbq sauce on the side. Is there a bourbon theme here?!?!? ???

Thanks for looking!!! Slainte

Great looking meal!  Looks like you can fit 4-5 more racks in there.

 One-Two punch from the K-G Clan !!!

those look pretty dang good & I'm jealous 'cause you did them on one kettle, without breathin' hard, huh?
