Wow. That thing looks amazing. I've got a maple Boos board.....it looks a lot lighter than yours.


I know boos makes this cart in both maple:



and Cherry:





I am by no means a wood expert, but color-wise it sure looks like the cherry version to me. 


The lady I bought it from did not want to cut on it - in fact, she always put another cutting board on top of it to protect the top.  ???


As for me - I can't wait to get cutting on this thing...

I've seen that cart retail for around 1200 bucks. Nice score.

Great score.  Now get some mineral oil and beeswax 50:50 heat until wax melts and keep the block well treated.
