Hunsaker Smokers Vortex Firebasket for the 22" WSM
« on: February 08, 2016, 03:14:19 AM »
This is a really cool addition for the 22" WSM. I found out about Hunsaker Smokers last year, bought a couple Vortex Firebaskets for my Drums, built a clone can and asked Mark Hunsaker to make one without an ash pan so it would fit on the WSM charcoal grate.

Most of the Hunsaker Smokers users cook Hot & Fast, and this will take the bullet and turn it into a rocket!

Want direct heat without burning meats? This will do it. Ever considered a Pit Barrel Cooker? Try this on your 22" WSM

I cook on: Backwoods Gater, Lang 36, Hunsaker Smokers, Pellet Pro 22" WSM, BGE's, WSM's, Cajun Bandits, PK Grills, Drum Smokers, Genesis Silver C, Weber Q's, Cookshack 008, Little Chief, La Caja China #2, Lodge Sportsman...oh yeah! Weber Kettles! Kamado restoration and pit modification hack!
