I was blessed to capture this holy grail. Was on CL and happened to click just after the post. Just in AH since getting it home. I have been just looking at it since I took possession Thursday. I have a few pics to share for now, as tonight she is broke down for some detail. I will update when she is looking good. It might be the oldest on record? Historians chime in.
A fea things I noticed, Vent is off center, it has rings and is flat under the handle...
And my view for two nights.
Well it was hot has He!! here today! I did complete the detailing of this grail.
Story on this grill, just luck on clicking on CL and being first.
Back story... This was with one family its entire life. The son was unloading his parents stuff. This was offered to a vintage/retro furniture store. They just thought it was cool and purchased for resale. They did do research on old Weber grills. They believe in keeping local and did not put it on Ebay. Busy day, hot and cloud cover. Just a few more pictures.
Grate tabs that are inline with the bowl handles are blue.
Just a few more it is not perfect by know means, but fun to stare at. It will be a cooker and looker
Thats what it's about.
