18.5 master touch - first cook
« on: June 21, 2015, 04:39:41 PM »
Well, you can't mod a used kettle and not use it. My son asked for burgers on Father's Day, so I figured the 18.5 should fit the bill. New craycort grates.

My son figuring out how to use the grate lifter

He helped me light the fuel

Checking to make sure the ash can is properly secured

All set up

Taters roasting

Time to roast some peppers

Peppers moved indirect and grilled onions - love those sear marks

Burgers

Burgers indirect - added cheese and when melted pulled them off.

The food was great and the day with my family couldn't be beat- had a great Father's Day. Will definitely be using this little guy a lot in the future.
