With the rising heat in the "Valley of the Sun" we decided to have an initial meet up at Rudy's to eat some good BBQ and drink some cold beers  We had representation from the Far West of the valley (1911 Ron) the far East of the valley (Me, JC, and Mikey) and from the Scottsdale area (AZMonsoon).  It was a great chance to put some names to faces (and text numbers).

Clockwise from the bottom right -
Barry @AZ Monsoon
JC @jcnaz
Ron @1911Ron
Ron's wife Kim
Yours Truly
Mikey @AZ_MIKEY
Mikey's GF Kelly (she has cooked whole turkey on a 26er)

Thanks to everyone for turning out.  It was great to meet everyone.  We will get a cook together once the heat passes.

Ron - for the record, you and I live 72.8 miles apart.

I wish I could have  been there. I was stupid enough to agree to play in a 1:30 shotgun, it was brutal.

I was at AZ Grand which is only a few miles north...sorry I missed it. Next time!
