Looks like a few guys have " pet names " for the kettles they own. I'm guessing most of these names have stories behind them . If you'd like to share your kettle name or names and story behind the name I'm sure it would be entertaining, it's also an excuse to post gratuitous kettle pics
I'll lead it off with a few to get things started
Pac Man -
This grill got its name from its CL photo when I bought it . It was in a storage unit auction and the winning bidder took a photo of the legless grill lying in a trash heap with the lid slightly off the bowl and the two chips front and center facing the camera . It was PAC MAN mouth open and ready to chomp, a little ball of yellow just sitting there . PAC MAN has been my traveling grill for the last two years , he's been all over the NW camping with me and it's been a favorite of mine since I got it.
A few others
I have a Plum - Maroon , I call it " Ron Burgundy "
I have a Red HC 22" I call it the " Big Tomato "
I have a WSM I call " ole 250 " because it stays at 250 degrees with all the daisies open regardless of the weather.
" Esto Perpertua "
