I got to do another good-sized cookup over at my buddy Patrick's place....where a good portion of those previous shindigs were held....

It was his birthday & he wanted to play music with his band & have me do up a feed for friends.....

A good deal for everyone !!!!

Slapped on a couple butts at 11:30 Sat nite with bean pans added early the next AM.....

Also put on a pan of sweet tater chunks....bacon dripping, maple syrup & McCormick's Applewood rub....

Here's where breakfast came in.........

Used that McCormick's Belgian White Ale seasoning on one of the butts & it wass so good "we" (me & the dawgs....mostly me) had some breakfast....... 8)

Folks started arriving early afternoon & I got the crusty Webers going.....

The band set up in the opposite corner...

Chicken quarters, zucchini & grey squash & some pork riblet that a buddy marinated in lime & pineapple & some other good stuff....

couple loads of riblets on the 18"....

3 loads of squash....

Chix .....I cut them down after I saw how many people were showing up.....

Hot held on the old gasser.....

Had rolls for sammies, broccoli slaw & regular cabbage slaw with bleu cheese in the dressing....that was good !!!

Too busy serving to get any more pics !!!!!

Folks had fun & got full.....4oz. of broccoli slaw was all that was left..... :o

So yeah, seems like there have been some "How many Webers do I need to cook for "X" number of people?" threads.............

This was the two overnighters w/ beans & sweet taters....then the three at the place.....approx. 55 people & there was some chips & salsa & a few small other items that were snarfed up before i was even ready with my parts....

The butts were hot held in foil ^& towels in the flat cooler for about two+ hours & were screamin' hot at pull time.....
The 1st butt went in about 90 seconds it seemed like..... :o

Good thing I ate breakfast !!!!

Fantastic cook. You should have called me Ken. I would have been there in a flash.

Yeah, I get going & concentrated on the cooking & logistics & forget I could be collecting up groups of friends to meet each other !!!!!

@WNC  ......

I did this kind of thing over at their place once a month during the good weather (Feb ~ Oct) for 11 years running....nothing like a little practice to get in the groove...... 8) 8) 8)
