Basement's just depend on how hot the coals go, but I'll use fairly hot coal 1-1/2 ~2 Hrs. right next to or on the coals, rotate now & then ~~ Temp 210 approx.

Beans & Pork Look GRATE !!!!

I'm not sure about Illinois, but this stuff is "homegrown" around these parts.  ;)
