Hi All. New to the sight. Wondering if any of you wonderful Weber fans can help me? I have a 1995 Performer. I need some parts that Weber customer service says are no longer produced. I'm looking for, (according to my parts list) what are called bottom connectors they connect the wheel frame to the castor frame and hold the bottom rack. Mine have rusted where the bolt connects to them. As a result they are loose and spin and the frame has become wobbly. I have looked all over the internet with no luck. Anyone have any idea where I could find a pair? Thanks for any help!!!!!

Welcome to the club marengo815!  I think you are talking about the star nuts inside the frame itself.  These can be found at bike shops and I believe the size is 15/16".  My local bike shop sold me some.

Take the tubing with you and they have a tool that inserts them squarely in the tube.

Share some pics of your project!

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

That is what it was. The nuts are rusted away. The tube itself is pretty rusted also. I'm gonna have to get some new 1in square tube as well. I think while I'm at I'm gonna take the whole thing apart and take the frame in and get it power coated.

Welcome to the Wkc from the far northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Guessing from you name, are you in Marengo IL?
Also if you are replacing the square tubes they have those at McMaster Carr. They carry one with a little thicker wall. Standard one is part# 6527K174  0.060" wall and they carry 0.083" wall part#6527K264

Welcome from just south of Chicago, IL!
I swear, when I score a great deal on a 26" I'll stop buying grills... So often.
