The paints burning off. Should be good to go in an hour.

Love it! McGyvering up a cooker. Classic.  How'd they turn out?

I believe you liked the pressure of getting that ready, it appears y'all had fun
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Yeah it was a blast. Got a late start. I was planning on doing more but it will be a work in progress.

Looks like a great way, and a fun way to grill a few steaks.  Hard to tell from the picture, third from the top, was that a log of birch?  Can't tell if it has a grayish or whiteish color bark?

No. It was all applewood. I had a small pile left that needed used up because it was starting to rot.

I'm digging it! I actually made a fire pit out of a warrantied 26" bowl I had. Cut some short legs for it from a donor 22." I'm cutting down a small dead maple tree tomorrow
