30# of Thighs on the Ranch
« on: March 31, 2016, 11:35:24 PM »
Having a Pot Luck at work tonight.  Went to Stater Bros on sale for .89 / lb bought 3 10 pound bags.  Got home and de-boned them (way to much work).  Lit the chimney about 9:15 first batch on at 9:45 finished and in the ice chest by 11:00.  Love the Ranch.

Some Cactus Cooler was nice.  GKG!!!

I love that you had 30 pounds of wings on the go and still had spare grill space. Fine looking cook FedEx.
"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

The FDA uses the terms "batch" and "lot" interchangeably. I think with 30lbs of meat we might have that here.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

The thought of deboning 30 pounds of thighs makes me want to cry.
I would have spent the extra $40 for the boneless skinless.
