Restored a 73 or 74 green. Now what?

So I picked up an 18" that needed to be restored.   Almost no chips.  Filthy, and with a broken handle.
I cleaned it up, and made a new handle. 
Can anyone tell me what color that is?
I turned out to be so beautiful that I find myself just sitting, drinking beer, and looking at it.
What do you people do with your beauties?  I'm kinda hesitant to cook on it.  My SS Performer is my workhorse.    Maybe use this just once in a while for special occasions?
Do you clean them up like new after each use when using them?

Nice restoration.  The grill you have is a 18.5" model JBK-360. The color is called Key Lime and Weber marketed it as "The Fairway" . Congratulations. 

If your going to cook on it occasionally, I would not clean it after each use.  Just clean the exterior of the lid with paper towels and simple green or use #0000 steel wool.

I see the beginnings of Weberitis.

That is really lovely. Personally I like to keep  18s and smaller colourful stuff to look at now, but there is definitely more enjoyment in using them, I've used my blue and red 22s that I thought I'd just look at too after a deep clean, and the way I see it now that I've broken the ice is that I'll never let em get as bad as they were, like yours they've survived decades of cooking and still come up so well, so what harm can it do? Just don't do something awful like drop a lid

Congrats on the find and restoration! Your handle looks great as well.

Careful though, once you catch Weberitis it never really goes away.

Your photos do not show the grill with a twist on ash pan. Do you have the twist on ash pan? If not you can get one from longtime WKC member @Jeff .  You can send him a PM here on the Forum.
