Rigged up the Venom to the EE 26r with bailing wire for a test run. Worked great and the chicken was delicious 8)
I do not use my Venom much, but when I do it has always cooked rock solid temps and is consistent.
The chicken looks grate.

I just picked up a Venom, do you typically leave it on all the time or put it on for specific cooks?

I leave mine on all the time. It's easier to do a straight, non-venom cook with it on with the handle unhooked than it is to swap back and forth. unless you plan on hardly ever using it.
