We all know this is the grand daddy of them all, once again Brian @zavod44 is opening up his home to all of us kettle heads to cook food and purve over kettles.
It is going to be tough to top the over 100 kettles that were present last year but let's see what we can come up with.
The date this year is going to be moved back into the month of Aug on the 11th. Mark your calendars, take time off work and start sweetening up SWMBO to ask permission to go.

I'm really hoping to be there. That is usually the last weekend before the school year starts for my wife and I (meetings the week leading up to it, students coming on the 13th) and a stressful time BUT my birthday is also on the 13th so hopefully I can make the trip!

Honeybun and I are already putting it on the calendar. It's been a long winter helping my daughter get diagnosed and then repair and rehab her torn ACL from wrestling and there's been waaay to little smoking from this camp. The break in the weather has me itching to fire up the coals and this event gives me something to look forward to!! :)

Sadly, not this time around for me. If work travel pops up that week I might have a fighting chance for a pop-in. I have a challenge for the set-up crew this year though: organize the kettles by color. Reds, blues, yellows, customs etc. It would be fun to see all the same-colored kettles together in groupings.

There will be plenty of grills there to cook on if you don't bring one that's a cooker. Usually one side of the yard (the south side) is the cooking side. The north side of the pool is the display side.

Had a grate time, as always!!! Thank You Brian, for opening your home to us yet again. Love seeing everyone's pics, cuz I never pulled my phone out for any🤨. Was awesome reconnecting with so many members, and getting to meet some that I've missed previously. Somehow, I still didn't catch everyone. Guess I'm kinda like a dog (appropriate considering the

Thanks Brian for the hospitality and all for such a wonderful time. This was my first rodeo, so looking forward to next year. Unbelievable Webers, food and drink but most of all the absolute most friendly, down-to-earth group of folks one could imagine.

This was easily the best WKC meetup I've attended. More planned and organized, less chaos, best food, best crowd, rarest grills.
