Title: Some Healthy Stuff
Post by: MacEggs on June 10, 2016, 05:01:16 AM

Portobello mushrooms, asparagus, stuffed tomatoes, and a romaine heart.

Liking the (chopped) Romaine plated pic, does it take any dressing well?

Blue cheese dressing goes great with grilled romaine. That is if you like blue cheese.

What were the tomatoes stuffed with? I would like to try that.

Looks plenty good Mac....I used to do stuffed tomatoes years ago but forgot till now. Thanks for the reminder dude. I guess I have lived long enough to "forget" stuff. Shit.

Thanks for looking, guys!

@Metal Mike , the dressing was actually applied before hitting the grill.  Could use a bit more after.

@Travis , damn, I love blue cheese ... Wife not so much.  I need to get some.
The tomatoes were stuffed with a leftover meat / rice mixture.  There wasn't much, so I topped it with diced feta cheese.

@MrHoss , Ya, I don't recall ever doing this .... I like them, a lot.  Might become a regular part of the rotation.

I used a grapefruit knife that has a curved blade with serrations on both edges.  Don't have a grapefruit spoon ... That would have helped some.

Looks great, I like to 1/4 my romain brush a little olive oil and drizzle balsamic vinegar sprinkle a little sea salt and cracked pepper and onto the grill.
