Last day guys and what an event it's been! Thank you all for participating, there were some truly amazing cooks posted this year!

Well guys, just back in from vacation last night and it looks like some great cooks this year! Super impressed! I've still got today off, so I figured I get some ribs in for lunch.
Started off using one of Troy's "pube" fire starters. These work really well, and no puby after taste😀
In truth I was more worried about them leaving a waxy residue on the bottom of the grill, but they don't.

More to come in a couple of hours!
Well it's been a couple hours, and started mopping with my vinegar sauce. The smell coming from the back is wonderful!

All done and after an hour rest in some foil. I like to brush on some chipotle coffee sauce as I eat 'em!

Came out fantastic! Up next grilled chicken Caesar salad.
Sucks though I feel like I'm two days behind all the fun😢
My last contributions...just a regular burger and fries for dinner..and well bacon...you have to have bacon..

Day 6: Mahi Mahi with a habanero sauce piquant and coleslaw. Nothing fancy, but then again I had to go back to work again today :-( They were only 5 ounce filets so I cooked them on foil for about four minutes just to firm them up and then went direct for about 2 to 3 minutes per side.

Great looking plates there guys! Glad I'm not the only one who could make it out today!

Think I might just desert left in me...
Tonight we did breakfast for dinner on the Weber Performer after I looked through the fridge and pantry and decided Huevos Rancheros would go nice with homemade salsa I made for the fourth.
I used the gas assist to light two baskets of charcoal while prepping onion, a red bell pepper, and a couple cloves of garlic.
Then a pound of local bacon got cut up and tossed in the cast iron Dutch oven.
I ended up separating the pound into two batches for better cooking. Once the bacon was done, a couple tablespoons of the rendered fat went into the cast iron skillet with the peppers and onions.
The finished veggies.
The garlic and then 2 cans of black beans went into the Dutch oven where rest of the bacon drippings were. They were seasoned with cumin, chili powder, and a few splashes of Crystal hot sauce. Water was added and they cooked until everything reduced.
While the beans were cooking, I fried up a half dozen eggs seasoned with Aldi brand Steak seasoning, which is similar to Chicago or Montreal seasoning. I found it was really good on eggs over the winter when I did a chuck eye steak on cast iron and then fried a couple eggs for breakfast.
I need to level out the grass where I keep my grills.
Everything was assembled. Tortillas were topped with a couple eggs, beans, bacon, peppers and onions, and the home made salsa. I tossed a couple hash browns in the toaster oven and ate everything with a fork. Here's your plate.
Only thing I would do differently is have a 26er to better fit the Dutch oven and skillet.

Dinner for breakfast looks great!
Well a quick dessert while the coals were still hot
S'mores!
Sorry another blurry pic. Didn't have any Hersey's, so used some dark chili chocolate the wife had.

Great looking bird there Nate! How did the new way of trussing work out?
For me, I like this trussing method. It's easy too.
Man. Everything else looks great. I'll take a plate of everything!
I was finally able to fire up the webers today. Cooked all day. Just as the meat came off the tornado sirens went off and off to the basement we went. I got a few pictures before the storms rolled in.(no damage at our house).
pork butt, st. Louis style ribs, chicken wings and beef short ribs. (Didn't get a after pic of the short ribs)

I've been trying to post this for days but the WKC site keeps kicking me off when I post pics. :( Anyways, I wanted to make this e-cook special by using the Stephen's family SS "N" Grey Performer..... But when I tried to move it after sitting for 2 years it suffered from SS "PCD" - SS Performer collapse syndrome. :'( Back into the garage it goes. Instead, the Ranch Kettle comes out of retirement for this cook. We marinated some pork chops in the Filipino Style and grilled them to goodness. A full chimney of KBB gave us a nice hot zone and grill marks. Non-kettle cooks include deep fried pork knuckles (Crispy Pata) reheated on the RK, sweet and sour shrimp, egg rolls (Lumpia), sour tamarind fish stew (Fish sinigang), and some noodles (Pancit Palabok). Enjoy!

im glad i was able to participate in the ecook this year. i wasn't able to last year....and even though i got in late in the game I'm happy to be a part of it.
i started out by giving my ol' faithful a semi-cleaning. my daughter is usually my ash cleaner and she hasn't been giving it as good cleanings as i would. so i gave it a good scrape down today. it is so therapeutic to me to just kind of get in the zone and focus on my grill.
(http://pics.weberkettleclub.com/images/2015/07/06/20150706_174152.md.jpg) (http://pics.weberkettleclub.com/image/a5)
as always i have a loaded grill. i don't know if many others use this circular type of layout.... it works for me as all the food gets equal amounts of heat. dogs and sausages always on the top. those little bone pieces are trimmings from thighs.... i add them in as snackies.

coming along nicely.....

i loved the color on this chicken....i don't know if it was the cleaned up grill or the simple seasoning... but this chicken was pretty freaking good.

don't knock it till you try it. i love corn this way. a make a miracle whip/sour cream combo, slather that on, a sprinkle of salt.... then put some parmesan cheese on there....finally some hot sauce. so very, very good.

********************************I want to thank EVERYONE who participated in this years eCook. I had a ton of fun and hope you guys did as well! We are so lucky to have such talented grillers in our midst and the willingness to share and help others is like no other forum out there. Cool events like this wouldn't be able to happen without you guys sharing your amazing culinary creations.
I am going to leave this thread open until end of day tomorrow to allow for a few more straggler entries - if you snapped some pics please share! In the next 48 hours I will go back through all the posts and calculate how many entries you have each earned. A draw of names will then take place out of a bucket to choose the winners. We want as many winners as possible so if your name is drawn and you win a prize you will no longer qualify for the remaining draws.
Once again
THANK YOU! very much for participating and we can't wait to see you back again next year! Stay tuned for prize announcements coming soon!

@pbe gummi bear - Outstanding cook up Lawrence!! That can only be described as a feast!
Got back from moving the Grandson and family to Seattle. Took us at least four days :( :( Going to miss that GGdaughter (and her Mom & Dad).
Thought I'd better make dinner tonight to celebrate their great opportunity. Not as grand as most of the great cookUPs I've seen here, but at least I'm having a great dinner. Menu: ABT appetizers followed by T-Bone steak & lobster. Wash it down with Anejo & Corona.
Dinner tonight is on my twin "greens" ...

For my last cook I wanted to use up all (some) of the leftovers I had from the 4th of July. Things we never used or things I grilled up but never ate. That's when I had the idea for a stuffed meat loaf. I threw in the ABTs as appetizers which I always need on long cooks. The only thing I didn't have on hand was the bacon every thing else was left over from our party. I love shopping in the refrigerator!

The Results - the ABTs barely got a chance to cool before they were devoured...so sorry no pictures. Just imagine that they were good and crispy - because they were.

No food pics here, just a message of thanks that I would love to see echoed by receiving a number of hits on the "Thank You" button.
SixZeroFour has done this for the second year boys. This is not only fun for us but also drives the board....expanding it's scope and driving it into parts of the interweb it has not been before. For this I applaud Matt....Bravo!!!! buddy. No small amount of time and effort went into this...and last years event.
I too wish to thank Matt @604 for taking the time to do all this and for all he does to help the other members of the forum and thanks to everyone for the great cooks and inspiration, I'll be combing over these threads for a while so many great dishes and ideas . Matt love that grill and the restore you put on her, from what it was to now cooking up a fine meal , thats what it's all about !
Thank you Sir !
We really need a Northwest Gathering sometime soon !

Just a few of the cast members for dinner on the 6th, a nice nearly 2 pound Rib eye
"King's Cut" , just means it's a thicker cut but they gotta be all fancy like
(http://pics.weberkettleclub.com/images/2015/07/08/Dinneronthesixth2.jpg)
The chunky rib eye meets the cooker and the apple bombs are waiting on the sidelines
for their turn in the "sauna" .
Some bacon and onions that will be mixed with the cheese and the innards from the
potato in the first pic for a loaded twice baked potato that we split.

Just a pic of the finished meal before I broke it down for serving.
I'm here to tell ya that was a really nice rib eye that worked out to be about the right
size for the two of us. I liked the idea of the apple bombs but these just didn't quite
turn out as hoped, (execution / ingredient issues) and will try them again.

I told my kitty I thought the Rib eye was one of the best I've grilled and the little
stinker laughed at me..
Just had to squeeze one final one in so I could see THAT before breakfast, eh Lance?
