Do anyone use the Cajun Bandit Stacker on their Kettle? If so, how does it work for you? Would you recommend it? I'm looking at converting one of my 22" Kettle into a smoker, I already have a 18.5 WSM, but could use the additional space that the 22" Kettle would provide. Any information would be appreciated.
I am considering a Stacker for my 18 OTG, I have heard nothing but good things about them.
I keep meaning to track one down as well. Interested in feedback.
I have one. Absolutely love it. I have an 18" one on it's way as well.

Thanks!!!
I think I must have every Cajun bandit accessory and absolutely love them. The Red Master-Touch in Troy's link is one of my competition cookers. I use it for Chicken with a R-O-L. I added another grate level in the center section.
If you are looking to add extra space to an 18" or 22" WSM or wanting to get better indirect cooking with a kettle you'll be glad you got a Stacker.
I started a Cajun Bandit Users group on FB if anyone cares to check it out. I have some mods that I've done to some of my cookers that sometimes I feel doesn't fit in here at the WKC, and there are some Smoke EZ users that have pimped out 26.75" Cajun bandits that might be of interest, and I hope to be testing a Hunsakers Smokers Vortex Firebasket for 18" & 22" WSM's in the near future.
I have one and I love it! So far I've done ribs, chicken, pork butt and corned beef on it.

I've been thinking of making one of my kettles a dedicated smoker but haven't decided which one yet if I do.
Maybe a dumb idea, but could you add a door and make a pizza kettle type thing too? Very different types of cooking, but dual purpose sleeve would be cool.
All right, that's my next purchase. Been putting it off too long.
I love the simplicity of it, just a ring with a spot for a grate, but I know it will be something I use OFTEN.
^^^ Ditto.^^^
Is the stacker too tall to use as a roti ring?

No, I don't think so, but the stainless steel is a PITA to drill and cut out slots for the motor mount.

I haven't tried yet but an additional 22 grate can be set below above the pizza pan..
The 18 stacker is super tempting.

yes. it gets hotter there though (obviously)
my ONLY complaint with the stacker is the lack of a bowl/pan.
The included heat diffuser works very well, but it doesn't contain all of the grease like a typical water pan would.
In fact, it will hold just enough grease to be a fire hazard. If you're cooking multiple butts, be careful. (i've only had this happen once, so maybe it was just a perfect storm)

I'll be posting a full review of BOTH the 22 and the 18 in a month or so.
(and there will even be a giveaway!)
Sign me up!
I suppose with the diffuser below and an additional grate above you can get a water pan from Ace or somewhere and place it on that lower grate.

Was thinking the same.
Or used foil pans. Or your WSM bowl if you have a flat bottom one like me (Brinkman chrcoal bowl mod). Or ... or ... or .....
Hate to resurrect, but it didn't look like too old of a thread. I was looking at the Cajun Bandit BBQ Stacker and saw the write up of the Cajun Bandit WSM Conversion Kit for kettles, but their site doesn't show that setup. Did they stop selling the kit to convert a kettle to a full WSM like smoker?
I believe the only part you can still get from the conversion kit are the legs

Sadly, it's been discontinued.
I'm glad I have one, prefer it over the wsm

Is the 22" stacker tall enough to cut a door port into and use one of the CB WSM doors in it? May not be necessary, just curious.
Do you guys prefer the CB Stacker over the Smoke EZ, or are they about the same?
I'll take a look at mine
Not tall enough, and not needed.
You can easily lift the stacker off of you have some leather gloves.
The smoke-ez is nice, but it's bbq paint that will fade and it has a giant ugly logo on it. It doesn't fit as perfectly as the bandit.

Not that I want a door nor need a door on mine was going to measure but I agree not needed.
Oh and the CB stacker is worth every penny IMO.
