Title: Breaking In The Winter Windbreak
Post by: MrHoss on February 05, 2015, 02:06:07 PM
Did one of these last year so I used the dumping we got the other day to good use:

I will make the outside of the walls a little higher and mold in a couple side shelves. Right now I am smoking some sausages at about 165f:

Looking good Hoss! Is that a hot crimson or a black OTG?

He is a Crimson...Harry I call him due to the black hair in the lid's porcelain. Smells like Pecan right now.

The cook went good. It got windy as it got darker and the walls cut it good. I was able to smoke for about an hour and a half....then I added some coals and grilled them the last little bit:

@MrHoss I like the way you roll with the conditions!

Looks like a successful cook, as usual!    :)

Love the flames flying in the winter at night.

Hoss, awesome stuff.  Good to see a little weather can't keep your grilling down.

Love the built in refrigerator in your cooking area.   :)
