Duke,  this is yours.  You are #5 (you old timer!)   you can see in the link u=5. In some browsers you can hover over someones name and have it show up at the bottom.

When you are in your profile this is what shows up in the address bar.

I was thinking this very same thing .... I distinctly remember being #276 after registering.
According to what pbe said to do, it shows I am #295 ...

Troy mentioned that the number at the bottom of the forum page doesn't include non confirmed member accounts, whereas the one at the URL does.
